Elegant summer wedding at Kew Gardens Nash Conservatory & Orangery
PLANNING & DESIGN BY EMMA JOY / PHOTOGRAPHY BY DAVID JENKINS
LIVE MUSIC BY THE GATSBY BAND
Having already chosen Kew Gardens for their wedding, Kim and James came to me having seen photographs of Lauren and Ollie’s Temperate House wedding in 2021. I adore planning Kew Gardens weddings and when I got to know Kim and James’ classic vision for their day, I couldn’t wait to get started.
Kim made a stylish entrance in a vintage Rolls Royce for their Nash Conservatory ceremony, looking stunning in a striking strapless gown while walking down the aisle to an acoustic rendition of ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’. I adore the simplicity of their green and white palette, completed by James’ dapper white tux!
The Nash Conservatory was beautifully dressed with large flower urns and aisle flowers, creating a lush, natural backdrop for their summer wedding.
Their drinks reception took place on the Banks Lawn highlighted by a very special singing performance by the bride’s mum. Afterwards, guests walked through the beautiful botanical gardens to the newly-renovated Orangery, where they took their seats at round tables styled with cut glassware, gold cutlery and luxurious white linen.
True to form, the Gatsby band ensured the dancefloor was filled all night and guests had a fabulous time. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of this stunning Kew Gardens Nash Conservatory and Orangery wedding.
