A romantic lakeside wedding in Surrey with a vibrant marquee reception

Charlotte and Hamilton’s late summer marquee wedding in Surrey took place near where they live, in one of the most picturesque settings you could ever imagine. As soon as I saw the lake, I knew that I had to find a way to set their ceremony beside it! There were lots of logistics to think through, including what to do with all the resident ducks, but I was thrilled with the result. The wild meadow installation for their ceremony added a touch of whimsy and natural beauty, perfectly framing their vows. It was a dreamy lakeside wedding ceremony that I will always remember.

Inside the marquee, we embraced a relaxed yet luxurious country wedding ambience with long wooden tables dressed with hemstitch napkins, elegant taper candles and crystal glassware. An abundance of seasonal flowers brought the scene to life, complementing the serene outdoor setting.

The colour palette, inspired by the bride's favourite mint green and accented with vibrant coral, created a cheerful and lively atmosphere. This palette, along with the stunning lakeside setting, truly encapsulated the spirit of this fun-loving couple. It was a delight to plan and execute Charlotte and Hamilton’s lakeside wedding, where every detail came together to create a memorable and stylish celebration in the heart of Surrey's beautiful countryside.
