Kate and Adi’s wedding at Ardington House, set against the picturesque backdrop of Oxfordshire, was a UK destination wedding that beautifully blended American and British traditions. Their wedding day was one of those incredible fall days when the sun shines and the trees are ablaze with colour.
Their weekend celebrations began at The Bodleian Library in Oxford with a welcome party, setting the stage for the rest of their wedding weekend. The choice of Ardington house for their wedding day provided a stunning English country estate atmosphere, perfect for their classic British theme. It was a happy, colourful celebration that brought together friends and family from across the world.
Kate looked breathtaking in her Monique Lhuillier bridal gown, her sister was a vision in white and her bridesmaids wore elegant navy dresses. Tumbling designs made from seasonal foliage adorned the church and traditional wedding bells sounded as the newly-weds were showered with confetti.
Honouring the groom's Indian heritage, the couple chose a palette of vibrant pink and orange for the tent. Custom stationery, rattan chargers and knotted napkins gave their tables a woodsy, romantic feel. After dark, the lights twinkled and the dance floor beckoned!
This British-American UK destination wedding at Ardington House not only fused different cultures and traditions but also created an unforgettable experience for Kate, Adi, and their international guests.
“We’re still on cloud nine thinking about the wedding. Both Friday and Saturday were absolutely spectacular and we're so grateful. I will never forget walking into the marquee and seeing how gorgeous it was. You were so on it, and we trusted you completely to make sure things were absolutely perfect.”
